A safety valve is a special valve that is normally closed under external force. When the pressure of the medium in the equipment or pipeline rises above a specified value, it releases the medium to the outside of the system to prevent the pressure of the medium in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value. Safety valves belong to the category of automatic valves and are mainly used in boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines to control the pressure to not exceed the specified value, playing an important protective role for personal safety and equipment operation. Note: Safety valves must undergo a pressure test before use.
Main Function: Safety valves play a safety protection role in the system. When the system pressure exceeds the specified value, the safety valve opens, releasing a portion of the gas/fluid in the system into the atmosphere/outside the pipeline, ensuring that the system pressure does not exceed the allowable value, thereby preventing accidents caused by excessive pressure.
